- assure是及物動詞,可接名詞或代詞(不可接that從句)作簡單賓語。
- assure可接雙賓語,這時表物的賓語須由介詞of引出; 表人的賓語如置於表物的賓語後,則須由介詞to(而非for)引出,如置於表物的賓語之前,則不必搭配介詞。
- assure後接表物的賓語時,可由that從句或動詞不定式充儅。
- assure指“使……確信”，不是指“確信”，因此，在使用時要注意在前麪加上助動詞。I am assured of his honesty. 我確信他很誠實。I am assured that he is honest. 不可以直接說I assure his honesty。
