用法辨析
- before可用於表示時間。首先,可以表示“先於,在…以前”,其後可以跟表示具躰日期、時間等的名詞或數詞,也可以跟表示時間或動作的名詞。其次,可以表示“在做…之前”,後接 v -ing。再次,可以表示“緊接在…之前”。before用於否定句還可表示“直到…爲止”。注意before之後衹能接表示時間點的名詞,而不能接表示時間段的名詞。
- before可用於表示動態或靜態的位置,意思是“在…之前”,與behind相對。
